i don't feel compfortable in my own domain. this reminds me when i was in HS and wouldn't come home till after my parents were asleep just b/c i didn't want to deal with them. i'm paying over half the rent now and i don't even want to be there. i hate my sister's bf, and i hate her when she's around him. i've lost all respect for her and am overwhelmed by a feeling of dissappointment when i'm around her.
but on the other hand, i feel like i'm just giving up by NEVER being home. like, they know i'm uncomfortable and they know i don't approve but i'm not going to do anything about it, and i'm not around, so they can just shit on me. i feel like i need to be home more and take back what's mine; stand up and not be pushed around. that's how i feel at least but this will become increasingly difficult when i start working on my car more, and beig home even less.
which brings me to another point. i feel kinda like crap about the car sitaution now. lisa's father offered to let me borrow money to help out paying for the donor car and getting it up to NY, and even tho i don't really NEED the money, it'll just make life that much easier. my savings (which isn't much since paying for school) and my current paycheck (which came yesterday) has to pay for a cell phone payment, car payment, insurance payment, credit card payment, the donor car, the car carrier, the tolls, the gas and, most importantly, VALENTINE'S DAY, all within the next two weeks. i could pull this off by moving money around here and there and between accounts and the credit card, but if i don't have to risk late payments, i'd rather not, ya know?
now, here's my dilemma. i already bought lisa a nice ring when we went to saratoga for an afternoon. we'll prolly go out for dinner or i'll cook her dinner for v-day (regardless if it's on v-day or not), and she told me she wasn't really expecting anything from me. now, of course, i can't just NOT get her something, and on the same token, i can't just get her anything. i always have to do something over the top. i can't help it. last v-day was a limo and a super nice place to eat. b-day/xmas was a completely unecessary coat. and now, for this v-day i got her something REALLY cute that i KNOW she'll love, but honestly, i'm not sure that i should've spent as much as i have.
now, don't get me wrong, i don't regret in anyway spending the money, and she definitely deserves it considering we're not going to be spending a lot of time together since i'll be being a grease monkey every sat and sun for the next month, but should i really be splurging on something like this when i'm begging for money from someone else? i don't know, and i can't really describe how i feel about things but "weird".
